BlackLine, Inc. is seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive interactions across various platforms. You will play a key role in shaping our online presence and fostering community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with BlackLine’s marketing goals and brand identity.
- Create engaging, high-quality content tailored to each social media platform, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and social media updates.
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, fans, and customers across social media channels, building relationships and fostering community.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and partnerships, to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Track social media performance using analytics tools, measuring engagement, follower growth, and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, adapting strategies to optimize engagement and reach.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to align social media efforts with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably in a corporate or tech environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.); basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
- Creativity and Analytical Skills: Strong creative thinking and analytical skills to generate engaging ideas and evaluate the performance of social media campaigns.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor, capable of building relationships with diverse audiences.

Employment Type: Remote, Full-Time.
Salary Range: $25,000 – $40,000 per annum
