Alteryx, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and developing strategic partnerships. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and supporting the company’s overarching sales and revenue strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and target markets.
- Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to identify and engage new business prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to effectively communicate Alteryx’s value proposition to potential clients.
- Coordinate efforts with the sales team to streamline the transition from lead generation to closing deals.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and pursuit of opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally within the technology or software industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools; familiarity with data analytics is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions and business planning.
- Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 per annum
