As a Customer Support Agent, you will play a vital role in representing our brand and fostering customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Respond efficiently to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, providing accurate information related to products, services, and orders.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while assisting customers and addressing their concerns.
- Identify and troubleshoot customer issues, working diligently to resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of NeoPhotonics products and services to provide effective support and guidance to customers.
- Process customer orders and ensure timely confirmation and updates regarding shipments and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and issues using the company’s CRM system.
- Communicate customer suggestions and insights to management and relevant teams for consideration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer service standards by adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a customer support role, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary Range: $25,000 – $45,000 per annum
